Claus Helveg is a professional Danish photographer, specialised in macro/ species identification photography, nature and landscape photography and contemporary photography and art, where the subjects' natural beauty and timeless compositions are the essential ingredients in his work.

A lifelong passion for invertebrates, especially spiders and insects has been the photographic specialty of Claus Helveg for the last 5 years. Working together with museums and curators in Australia and overseas has been an essential part in this photographic work. Of the now more than 3500 different species of primary insects and spiders, Claus has had the fortune to find and photograph more than 50 previous unidentified species from Australia, Papua New Guinea and Brazil.
All images have been captured on location and in the different natural habitats of the individual species. All images are available as for purchase or limited use in the highest quality possible (please visit my store front for details).

All of his photographic art is designed from his own original high quality photos, digital modified into design and sold with personal signature and documentation of origin. The theme of Claus' art is the contrasts of life, beauty and natures creativity. Also vital inspirations to his art are the marriage between light and darkness that is such an essential part of all life and existence. All selected art can be individual designed to meet client's individual desires on colour, dimension, cuts, framing and overall design.

All photos are as standard delivered to clients as 10-20mb, 300dpi digital Jpg or Tiff files, edited and corrected, ready for high quality print. For all wedding sessions 5, A4 high quality photo prints of clients choice is included, together with the standard photo DVD of the event. The amount of photos from each shot depends on the product selected and event. Possible additions to service packages could include high quality photo albums, photo books, posters, calendars, canvas print and photo art, all made from the clients images (separate prices apply but can be included in the individual packages).
